Stephanie Russo, BA, LMP, has been a licensed massage practitioner since 1994. She has a depth of experience in the art and science of massage therapy. Stephanie is trained in a variety of techniques, and enjoys giving soothing relaxation massages as well as effective deep tissue treatments for acute or chronic pain relief. Stephanie studied in the human sciences for her Bachelor of Arts degree. She brings an intimate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to her work as a massage therapist, adding strength to the effectiveness of her massage.
Beth Rusk, LMP, attended the Australian College of Massage, graduating with a degree in 2010. Beth is driven by a passion to help others move more easily and live a pain free life. She tailors each session to the individual client and their needs at that time, using an intuitive touch and integrated techniques. She brings with her a background in yoga and physical fitness, integrating stretches and home exercises into her treatments to aide her clients in gaining and maintaining a healthy active lifestyle. Beth's training is in Swedish, myofacial release, remedial and injury treatment, sports massage, acupressure, and trigger point therapy. Her work is predominantly deep tissue based and incorporates slow fluid movements to ensure a session that is strong, focused, intuitive, and effective.
Charity Serdahl, LMP, received her training from Port Townsend School of Massage, graduating in 2003. Fascinated with the inner-workings of the human body, Charity sees massage as preventative care and, as an integral part of maintaining overall wellness. She brings a love of Swedish, deep tissue and pregnancy massage to her practice.
Cathleen Kunz, LMP, graduated from Spectrum Center School of Massage in 2002. She is the owner/manager of Cascadia Center for Massage. Before becoming a massage therapist, Cathleen worked in the banking and finance industry for twenty years. In the corporate environment she observed the dramatically detrimental effects of stress on the overall health and well being of individuals, which led her to study massage therapy. Her relaxation massage incorporates soothing Swedish massage techniques to calm the mind and ease the effects of stress on the body. Cathleen’s medical treatment massage utilizes a variety of massage modalities that include Myofascial Release and Deep Tissue work, with impressive results in relieving neck and back pain and tension. She is certified in Pre- and Perinatal Massage and enjoys working with women in all stages of pregnancy. Cathleen is also dedicated to providing massage for patients undergoing cancer treatment to reduce the side effects of chemical and radiation therapies.
Andrea Bump, LMP, graduated with honors from Ashmead College of Massage in 2005. Prior to working at Cascadia Massage, Andrea worked in a chiropractic office perfecting her deep tissue and injury treatment techniques. Her goal as a massage therapist is to provide the best possible massage to each individual and aid them in maintaining a full and healthy lifestyle.
David Larpenteur, BS, PTA, LMP, joins the team with experience working in physical therapy, massage and as a personal trainer. As a WWU alumni, his undergraduate degree was in Fitness Science. His collective knowledge guides the care that he gives. David's experience racing as a competitive runner and triathlete helped shape his career decisions. He continues to race competitively at races all over the Pacific Northwest. His background focuses his work on treatment, deep tissue, sports and relaxation massage. As a part of his treatments he often incorporates a stretching and strengthening program. David is dedicated towards helping all types of people improve their quality of life and reach their desired goals.
Charisma Bystrom, LMP, has been a licensed massage therapist since 2004. She has also studied Homeopathy, Ayuerveda, Aromatherapy, Acupressure and Jikiden Reiki. Charisma is a Doula and Specializes in pre and postnatal massage. Her focus also includes Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage. Charisma's goal is to help people release old cellular memories that are causing them pain and to increase ease in movement with daily activities.
Megan Sherman, LMP, loves working with people to find recovery from pain, increase joint mobility, and find ease in movement and life. Since her first massage training at Heartwood Institute in 2003, she has studied at the San Francisco School of Bodywork and Massage, Esalen Institute, and the Soma Institute, among others. Megan listens closely to you and applies techniques ranging from Deep Tissue, Myo-fascial, Orthopedic, Structural Integration, Shiatsu, and yoga in an effort to facilitate the optimal therapeutic effect. She also offers specialized treatments such as Somassage(tm) and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy(tm) otherwise known as AOBT or Ashi. Honoring the level of pressure that feels right to you, she will customize your treatment for a flowing deeply soothing massage, or a more specific therapeutic session.
Adrian Beltran, LMP, is a graduate of the Ananda Massage program, Port Townsend, WA, Sunshine Network, Certified International Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner, Supreme Science Qigong Certified Qigong and Breath Empowerment Facilitator and Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. Adrian integrates Thai Yoga Massage (Nuat Thai), an advanced modality of gentle assisted stretching, Myo-Fascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage and Qigong Healing Techniques (Tui Na), that improve blood flow and joint mobility, with Swedish Massage and Hot Stone Therapy allowing many of his patients with chronic tension and pain to find relief of their specific issues through his approach. Adrian also facilitates regular Qigong classes and encourages his patients to utilize the Qigong healing techniques for interval self-care.
